Ceramics were originally used as a material for making food containers. Over time, its use has diversified in many activities such as sculpture or construction. It is in the latter that the ceramic industry found a market with a great potential demand for the manufacture of ceramic paving stones, bricks and tiles, sanitary ware, frits and enamels.
