POLYMERE SC MUD P

POLYMERE SC MUD P is  a high molecular weight synthetic hydrosoluble polymer. SC MUD® P is a powerful powder viscosifier, recommended for all types of mud drilling and in particular for drilling sensitive clay horizons.

Applications:

• Forage fluids formulated with SC MUD P are recommended for:
• Water wells and soil reconnaissance drilling
• Horizontal directional drilling
• Bored piles and diaphragm walls in low permeability soils
• Driving and microtunnelling
• Mud pressure and earth pressure shields

Benefits:

• High viscosimetric yield
• Can be used in both fresh and salt water
• Degradable product, does not ferment

Physical properties:

• Appearance: White powder
• Bulk density: 0.9 g/cm3
• pH of a 2 kg/m3 slurry: 7 – 8
• Maximum recommended concentration: 5 Kg / m3

Recommendations for use:

• Mud drilling: Generally, 0.5 to 2 kg/m³ of water depending on the ground to be drilled.
• Foam drilling: SC MUD P added at a rate of 0.3 to 0.5 kg/m³ of SC FOAM foaming solution to improve its lubricating properties and stability.
• Conditioning fluids for earth pressure shields: The liquid version (SC MUD L) is preferred.
• Driving and Microtunnelling: The liquid version (SC MUD L) is preferred.
