E959 - Neohesperidin

Neohesperidin DC is an intense sweetener with a sweetness level 400 to 600 times higher than sugar. It is characterized by a menthol-like aftertaste. It can be used in products with reduced energy value or without added sugars, often in combination with other sweeteners.

Application:

• In high concentrations, cyclamate has a bitter aftertaste.
• It dissolves well and remains stable under most conditions.
