Borax
Borax, also known as sodium borate, sodium tetraborate, or disodium tetraborate, is a naturally occurring mineral and a common household chemical. Its chemical formula is Na2B4O7·10H2O.
Methyl isobutyl carbinol (MIBC)
Methyl isobutyl carbinol (MIBC) is a chemical compound with the molecular formula C₆H₁₄O. It is a colorless liquid with a mild odor. MIBC is part of the alcohol chemical class and is widely used in various industrial applications.
Monoethanolamine
Monoethanolamine is an organic chemical compound and a primary amine.
Potassium permanganate
In diluted solution, potassium permanganate is used for water treatment. It also serves as a disinfectant at a concentration of 0.5 grams per liter, commonly employed for washing vegetables in tropical countries.
Sodium Chloride
Sodium chloride is an ionic chemical compound with the formula NaCl. It is more commonly known as table salt or cooking salt, simply referred to as "salt" in everyday language.
Hydrogen Peroxide
Hydrogen peroxide is a chemical compound composed of two hydrogen atoms and two oxygen atoms. Its chemical formula is H₂O₂.
Magnesium Sulfate
Magnesium sulfate, also known by its chemical formula MgSO4 (anhydrous) or MgSO4·7H2O (heptahydrate), is a versatile compound widely used across various industrial and food sectors. With a molecular weight of 246.47 g/mol (heptahydrate) or 120.37 g/mol (anhydrous), it plays a critical role in numerous applications.
Phosphoric Acid
Phosphoric acid is a mineral triacid. The first function is that of a strong acid, the second that of a weak acid, and the third that of a very weak acid. The three bases formed are dihydrogen phosphate (H2PO4-), hydrogen phosphate (HPO4^2-), and orthophosphate (PO4^3-)
Calcium Propionate
Calcium propionate is a calcium salt of propionic acid, a carboxylic acid. It is used as a food additive for its preservation properties.
Potassium chloride
Potassium chloride (KCl) is a chemical compound consisting of potassium and chloride ions.
Triethanolamine
Triethanolamine is also known by the name trolamine. It is an organic chemical compound that is a tertiary amine and a triol.
Sodium Isobutyl Xanthate (SIBX)
Sodium Isobutyl Xanthate is a collector in the flotation of various non-ferrous metallic sulfide ores. It is primarily used in the flotation of copper, lead, zinc, etc.
Sodium ethyl xanthate (SEX)
Sodium Ethyl Xanthate (SEX) is typically a yellowish powder or tablet that is soluble in water. It is an ethyl alcohol-based xanthate with an ethyl alkyl chain (C2) in the form of a sodium salt.
Potassium Amyl Xanthate (PAX)
Potassium Amyl Xanthate (PAX) is a flotation reagent widely used in the mining industry for the separation of minerals by flotation.
Potassium Ethyl Xanthate (PEX)
It is the reagent with the highest selectivity due to its short carbonated chain. Generally used in complex Ag/Pb or Zinc ores. Xanthates have been the workhorse of sulfide mineral flotation since the 1920s (Harris 1989) and they represent the largest volume of any sulfide mineral collector. Xanthate collectors are salts composed of a non-polar hydrocarbon group, providing hydrophobicity to a sulfide mineral, pointing outward from the mineral towards the solution, and a polar group that adsorbs onto the surface of the sulfide mineral.
Sodium Amyl Xanthate (SAX)
Sodium Amyl Xanthate (SAX) is a chemical compound widely used in the field of mineral flotation.
